Single

We have a new pandemic plaguing us and its symptom is having a singular trait that turns into someones' whole entire personality. The surgeon general said you are either trying to find a niche for your social media or (my personal diagnosis) you have the personality of a wet sponge.

There is a guy on TikTok who is 6'5" (who I don't follow who continually/annoyingly always shows up on my FYP)... He is [objectively] tall, but every single video is about his tallness. He seemingly doesn't have a personality outside of his height. I would ask him what's the weather like up there? -But I don't think his little brain inside his large body would be in on the joke.

This also goes for the gays... You do you, but when your whole personality is your gay-ness, something that millions of people naturally are, just seems lazy. Ironically these are the loudest ones in a room, not loud in their personality, just the decibel level of their "Yas Queens". If you are going to be so singular, can you carry a conversation on policies that protect your gayness, organizations helping the gay community, or are you just informed on the contestants of Rupaul's Drag Race? I was hoping to see some colorful personalities, but I'm just seeing a lot of rainbow flags.

Ballet-core girls... I'm also looking at you. It's great to have a passion, but your entire identity on IG is being a very pedestrian ballerina... I don't want to see your poor form (wearing unbroken in ballet shoes you got on Amazon) in your living room wearing your little costume...all for the sake of aesthetic. I wanna know who hurt you as a child? Where your child-core father issues came from?... I mean in ballet you have to count, so you have (atleast) an elementary education... So what is your favorite Sesame Street character, princess?

You didn't think I would forget about you, meat-heads. All these people flexing are arguably the most cringe. You barbarians have nice bodies, but I enjoy my time with family and friends, not roiding out, chest bumping my equally brain dead, buff clan of friends grunting in the weightroom. I know you don't have a personality, but I can't call you stupid, because you would be able to tell me the protein contents of any food in the grocery store.  Your eyes are bulging out of your head, don't forget to blink, big boi.

To sum it up, I have watched countless "social media experts" encourage people to focus on one niche to help grow their social media platform. I just have to say, in the year 2023 we are advising people to pigeon hole themselves into a tiny little box, rid themselves of their uniqueness, and then they will be popular online? People are dynamic, unusual, complex beings...I am blessed with multiple personalities [LOL] -So I find it sad that there are people out there who don't even have one.
