*I am not trying to be mean, but I think it's cathartic to air my grievances... and maybe if you are reading this and doing some of these things, maybe you won't. Just out here making the world better, one blog at a time. A modern day Mother Teresa!
Things that annoy me today (9/13/23)
-I hate when people want to go out, but preface by saying they don't want to get crazy. "OK, buzz kill" -If I wanted to be sober around strangers, I'd take the bus.
-When people's whole digital personality is their body. You know the ones, a "3" in the face, (usually paired with a lazy eye or a gummy smile) so they spend their entire life at the gym and seemingly don't have a personality outside of lifting heavy things. Anyone can get a hot body with ozempic/steroids (pick your poison). We aren't impressed, Gumby.
-Generic white YouTubers -Your day consists of making coffee, getting your nails done, and "body showers" ... it’s so hard to relate to a day in your life when it is so privileged and not near any form of reality
-Celebrity. 10 years ago, celebrities were sourced, casted, had a talent (etc) to be in the industry. They auditioned to be on shows and people were picked and denied based on their niche/personality/"star quality" etc. Nowadays, anyone with a camera phone can be an online celebrity... and they really shouldn't have a platform. The entitlement that everyone thinks they should be famous is delusional and we shouldn't have to see it. -Like our politics, our standards have become bottom of the barrel.
-Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Donald Trump
-Justice is annoying me today. Do I think that Ruby from 8 Passengers deserves jail, no. She deserved to be tied up in a basement without food like she did to her children. The world is so progressive (and typically that is a good thing), but I think we really need to bring back being publicly tarred and feathered.
-The phrases. We are all adults here... we should be exercising not going on "hot girl walks" ...we should be eating dinner not having "girl dinners" ... in most cases being platinum blond is cheugy, we should be dying our hair brown not "cinnamon cookie butter" WHEN WILL IT END?
-Everything. Every thing is pretty annoying today, except of course Ms. Sophie; my queen is being the vision of angelic behavior per usual.
-This shirt is also annoying. I love it so much but whenever I wear it, it shreds my delicate little cookies like a cheese grater. -As you can see I had to improvise, and it's not ideal... also not great is that when the bandaids came off, it took off my spray tan in that "X" formation.
